Classrooms at Pushpagiriyil Senior Secondary School are well lit and spacious. Each classroom comes with a smart board and will be under CCTV surveillance, to ensure safety of each child. Students are encouraged to decorate their classrooms and display their creative work on the boards. Each section will have a maximum of 40 students only.
Computer Education initiates our young students into the captivating world of computing, and introduces them to its wide and ever increasing range of applications. We commence computer education from lower classes itself. We make sure that high end machines are available for each child.
Our school has well equipped science labs, and we focus mainly on hands-on practical work so that students may get a better insight into scientific theories. This enhances the inherent inquisitiveness of the student and energizes him to examine uncharted paths.
The school comes with a home to a number of books spread across different subjects and languages. It is also a home to plenty of novels and comic books, to encourage the reading habits among students. Pushpagiriyil Senior Secondary School has more than 1 acres of campus dedicated to the playground which includes a football ground, a running trail, a multi-purpose courts Indoor games like chess and caroms and Shuttle Badminton court. It also has a play area and sand pit area for the younger kids to play and explore.
Our school has a well developed transportation facility that is available to both students and staff. We have a fleet of 8 buses that connect the school to various selected locations across the Punalur town to Aryankavu and its outskirts.
The school reopened for the new academic year 2019-20 on 6 th June 2019 with great enthusiasm and vigor. Trust Secretary Shri. Babu Kurian presided over the function along with School Manager Shri. Jose kurian.
Environment is everything that determines the life of us, the human being on this earth. World environment day is celebrated on 5 th June every year declared by the UN General Assembly in 1972.
On 8 th June Saturday a Seminar was organised for parents of KG. The Resource person was Mrs. Meera Nair, Pandalam. This workshop helped parents to understand and deal with simple parenting issues.
